Embers are skilled in the art and craft of chimney and fireplace refurbishment and installation. All aspects of the trade are carried out by our experienced fitters. Every effort and consideration is shown to you the customer, to ensure that the work in hand runs smoothly from point of sale to completed installation.Embers undertake works in the following disciplines: Re-instatement, refurbishment and rebuilding of chimney breasts. Flaunching and installation of chimney pots. Parging, sweeping, testing and cleaning of flues. Plastering, bricklaying and marble cutting. We offer a unique and comprehensive refurbishment service to existing marble and cast iron fireplaces. We can undertake to remove your fireplace, refurbish/repair and re-install. We are one of the very few firms who can supply these three specialist services.

SURROUNDS
We carry in stock a wide range of original and reproduction surrounds of varying sizes and styles. These can be in a variety of materials including hard and soft woods, e.g. mahogany, oak, pine. They are also available in marble, cast iron and polished slate. We have many examples in all these materials.
INSERTS
At Embers we take pride in the refurbishment of original and quality original antiques. This is reflected in the intensive range of stock items. We also supply reproduction units of good quality should you so wish.
FENDERS
We stock original and reproduction models in cast iron, chrome and brass. Telescopic versions are available to suit all applications. Our club fenders are hand-made by local wrought iron craftsmen and are each individual pieces in their own right.
GAS FITTING SERVICE
We provide a CORGI registered gas installation service and a full after-sales service.

GAS/ FUEL-EFFECT FIRES
We supply gas/coal-effect fires that are extremely efficient. They are individually crafted to fit your particular grate profile, and come complete with control valve and set of coals. These fires are extremely lifelike due to a patented system which filters the gas supply through a gauze bed.
